This is – with luck – somewhere in between.

Mostly, these are the slightly unvarnished thoughts of C. B. “Dr Aether” Ash.

C.B. ( Chris to those that know him real well), began his professional life as a physical scientist, mathematician and software developer. Feeling a little dissatisfied and idle, he decided to branch out from there into all forms of web development, some digital art, and writing about alternate history (and a touch of science fiction).

When not whistling away the hours there, he spends his hobby time as a hobbyist game developer, painter, martial arts practitioner and inventor of some rather unremarkable, or perhaps indescribable, items.

C.B. has held many jobs over the years, from consultant, business owner, web developer, software architect, and so on. Some of his more recent work comes from intelligent, bulk automatic site generation for the financial market, artificial intelligent text mining of financial filings, and pdf to HTML-JS ebook reader conversion.

Often, C.B. has no problem rambling on about a topic, though he does attempt to restrain himself to blogs.
